We opened Friday evening with a Shamanic Winter Solstice Prayer written and lead by Estee Taschereau.  We then adjourned for the night, settling into our cabins and preparing for a very active Saturday.  The morning greeted us with a fabulous breakfast prepared by Chef Susan and her crew at the Brighton Creek facility in Yelm where our event took place.  Then we were lead by event organizer Kaye Tahwakeena.  For more on this event, see the article "The Healing Drum " .

Renee  - Great event!   |2008-04-02 09:06:09 I enjoyed the drumming session on Sunday, it was very freeform and everyone had a great time. I was amazing to see all the men around the ceremony drum, all working together.
