Whether it's aromatherapy, spiritual awareness, or gum off the sidewalk migrating onto your shoe, it's all energy. We can get very technical about it, talking chakras and how they spin, defining vibrations in mathematical equations, and quantifing energy into a time-space continuum. But viewing it in a more practical, everyday way: energy is like an ocean. It's nature brings about constant movement, and when constrained it is going to create havoc. Our nature, as spirit, is ever-flowing. But when we have unresolved conflict we stop, study, hold onto, and complicate.
Okay, fair enough. Then how do you connect aromatherapy to spiritual awareness? I have on many occasions heard reference to essential oils as the 'soul of the plant'. Each essential oil has its own unique properties, and when combined, their offspring bring forth their own identities. Each fragrance acts as a guide to a certain energy level, much as a guided meditation. Combining the aromatic effect with the impact of the oils absorbed through the skin, and stacking this energy shift (with a meditation process) can help you to experience a portion of yourself you had forgotten, or uncover an experience you are ready to release.
Aromatherapy can also trigger conditioning or patterns that link past experiences to current perceptions by our physical senses. While testing the blend 'Michel', I noticed that many described the blend by connecting it to a person ('it smells like my grandmother', 'it smells like my dad'). They had, through the essence (energy signature) of this blend, connected to a person or place where they felt safe and protected. With this feeling of security, described like wings wrapped around them, they felt as though they could 'spread their own wings'. We all want to feel comfort and positive support, and that as we move forward we do so with faith in our guidance and affirmation that these steps we take bring us closer to our divinity.
Is aromatherapy alone going to change your life? Left to its own measure probably not, for the true power to change is within. It takes the spiritual choice coupled with will and action in the physical to make change. What I have found though is that so many of us feel so overwhelmed by our 'collection of experiences' that we don't know where or how to start and we're unclear whether the moves we have made are getting us anywhere. What we need is that connection to our internal source, by whatever name you refer to, that renews us, encourages us, and guides us in our journey. These blends act as a tool in your quest to feel good, renew your faith, know yourself, find your path, or experience your spiritual essence. Using the oils has lead me to focus less on my current conditions, and direct my focus on what I want to create, how I want to feel, and where I want to be. So, in choosing a blend you are already asking yourself to take that initial step. Then in using the oils you are focusing on a desired outcome, giving yourself direction. I highly recommend you continue to stack upon this with other methods such as meditation or energy movement techniques. Most of what we seek to change has taken many years and layers to impact us as it has, and the more tools you use the more influence you will have in clearing and recreating something that will enhance and support your spiritual path and unique essence.
The purpose of the blends by RadiantJourney is to act as a tool, a reminder to turn within and reconnect to your source, be it your consciousness, heart, soul, higher self or source (by any definition). These blends are intended to help you find that energy vibration where you can feel comfortable enough to take that next step. The Radiant Journey blends also help calm and focus, which is vital to a successful meditation. Add to this a thoughtful supportative meditation topic, and you have the ingredients for a wonderful opportunity to better know yourself.
