The Spirit of Hope

Most of us will agree that our lives are action oriented. We work hard, and ask that we have something to show for it. It’s a world of having with arrows pointing us in the direction of more.

At the end of the day where do we always end up but at home, within our own thoughts. It is within this space that we kindle the fire, ignite the spirit of hope.

What do we pray for?

What will tomorrow bring? How often do we ask this question, what will tomorrow bring? So often we live within our expectations and a tightly woven space of repetition, knowing what time we will rise, where we will go, and who we’ll allow in our inner circle.

What is hope? It is a feeling, a desire for something good to happen. Hope is an expectation of the outcome. Prayer brings us to that place where we ignite the light of hope, creating a space for something good. Be it peace, love, a feeling of acceptance and accomplishment, we only ask that something good come from our efforts.

In the spirit of hope we create a space, a place within where we can welcome ourselves home once again.

There are those who jump on the bandwagon and claim that the signs are there, that 2012 will bring changes in this world that will have a major impact on our lives. Bold shifts are not necessarily “signs”. There are solar flares that translate to minimal effect on our lives. Going back in time we could even say the “big bang” turned out pretty darn good for all of us.

Where does this leave us with the earthquakes, tsunami’s and other disasters? We see a wave of support arise in times of crisis. We do come together, and many of us offer what we can to help.

Looking at this time, with the spring equinox, and a perspective of the Mayan calendar, we can view the global vibrational level to be one of coming together.

Let us continue on with a prayer and a helping hand to those who’s lives have been turned upside down.

An Interview with Spiritual Counselor Estee Taschereau

Is there a difference between a reading and healing session?

Most definitely there is a difference between reading and healing. A reading session gives information. When the information is correctly interpreted without interjection of personal views, and provides clarity then a reading session can be the gateway to self healing.

My reading sessions are more than a confirmation of what you are experiencing, although sometimes that’s all we need. During your reading session I start by looking at you and your life experiences in a way that transcends the day-to-day assessments and challenges. I also step out of your perspective, and share with you the aspects of your experiences that were overlooked or hidden. It’s amazing what can happen in a few minutes time when the picture is finally completed.

Healing Sessions are different. In a healing session you will receive assistance to clear energies that are not your own, and energies that diminish your ability to heal yourself. Nothing is moved that you are not ready to release, as that would not serve you. Nothing is changed without your permission, either. It’s all about respect for your capabilities as well as your freewill.

Can my situation be ‘healed’ in one session, or does it take more?

That is such a complex question! Imagine if your situation is one that you have lived with for a lifetime, a pattern that is your ‘norm’ – you might make such a leap, but many times we change incrementally, in a way that does not cause such a dramatic change that you no longer ‘know yourself’.

The key thought to keep in mind is that we have two perspectives: on a physical day-to-day level we say ‘I want to change it now’, but on a higher level we may need the situation to face some of the related beliefs and buildups that interfere with our growth and happiness. Your current situation may also be your ‘bandaid’ that protects you from something you fear, or a part of your power and creativity that feels detached.

One thing is for sure: on that higher level you know what you want, and what you are willing to release, and there is no one who is better qualified to know what is right for you. Have faith that you will get what you need during a reading session, and move forward proactively, building on the newly cleared foundation you have created.

These thoughts are concepts that stand strong today, taught by those who show others the way to success, and honored by those who have found their own success.

Funny thing, these are all quotes from a publication called “Spatula, Volume 20″ back in 1913, a collection of business and success tips.  While we can change the date, a few bits of terminology, and the style of clothing, some of the core concepts never change.

That last paragraph could be used in the boardroom just as well as in nature, could apply to yesterday just as much as a million years ago.

Today we have many styles of divining.  Tarot is a popular form of divination, and decks range from the traditional to animals, angels, and artistic.   Reading the signals or symbolic signs presented by animals is another form of divination, whether we see unusual behavior that signals an upcoming earthquake, or witness an unusual appearance of an animal or bird in our day.  Many study the powers of totem animal spirits, seeking answers about our own world and behavior by looking at the traits that animals represent.

Symbols are another area of study, with the Mayan calendar and the approaching 2012 a hot topic today.  The 20 glyphs and the 13 numbers of the two wheels that create the Mayan Tzolkin calendar each have their own symbolic meaning.  It is my belief that these symbols hold the key to our abilities and the evolution of our souls, and today is the best time to explore the pieces that make us whole with the 2012 shift to the current 5,000 year calendar ending.

We study psychology, and read the signs presented in a persons eyes, the tone of their voice, and their behaviors.  How is this any different than reading the signs presented in nature?  Reading the signs – everyday we can practice the art of seeing beyond our expectations.

Each day there is a shift in the Mayan calendar, the turning of two wheels.  The smaller wheel is the number wheel with thirteen numbers.  The number 13 is magical in the Mayan Tzolkin belief system.  There is a larger wheel with 20 glyphs, images that represent what the Mayans called gods, what I perceive as the strengths and abilities available to every individual.  How we utilize those abilities is our choice.

When we combine the number and glyph for the day we have a unique combination.  Looking at this calendar system from an intuitive sense the Mayan Tzolkin calendar can be seen as an insightful meditation tool.

Our world flows in cycles.  The moon cycle is a predominant part of our lives.  The Mayan Tzolkin calendar transitions as well in an ebb and flow that brings together the continued cycle of numbers with an influential attribute.  By giving focus to these attributes we can deepen our understanding of ourselves and our potential on both an individual and global level.

In the December 29, 2009 call we focused on the shift into 2010.  This shift will be big in so many ways.  We begin a new decade, the 10′s, the power of 10 as Berny Dohrmann of CEO Space speaks of as he sets the intention at each CEO Space forum.

This new year eve will be lit by a full moon, the blue moon.  In the southern hemisphere there will also be a partial eclipse of the moon.

As we look  forward we can plant the seeds that will blossom into the days that come.  What is our intention for the year?
